Finding sites to watch with the guide

When you create a site-watching filter, FilterWise offers a guide rather than an empty field. It exists to answer the only hard question at the start: which sites should I watch?

Say where you are looking

Enter a city or area. Two things follow:

  1. FilterWise looks for estate agencies around that city and proposes them, with their rating and their site.
  2. The count shown under the city is the number of agencies you will actually be offered — the ones you have already added are not counted.

If a small commune returns nothing, FilterWise widens to the nearest large city and tells you so.

Choosing from the suggestions

Each agency shows its name, its domain and its rating. Click the name to open its site in a new tab — the best way to judge whether its catalogue matches your search before adding it.

  • + Add adds it as a site to watch.
  • × removes it from the list. An agency that does not do rentals when you are renting has no business in your suggestions; once struck off it does not come back, not even under another address of the same site.

National platforms

Below the agencies, FilterWise offers the big portals for your city's country (SeLoger, Bien'ici, PAP, Rightmove…). These work differently: you open the portal, apply your own filters (city, budget, surface), then paste the address of the results page. That filtered address is what FilterWise watches — see Choosing the right URLs.

You can always add by hand

The guide is a shortcut, not a requirement. Add a source manually takes any results-page address, at any time.
